Music ISH: @TheLilMoShow "p.s. i Love Me" Review
THE GODMOTHER Lil Mo is back with her fourth studio album
entitled ‘P.S. I Love Me’ via her own imprint HoneyChild Entertainment
Inc. / Bronx Bridge Entertainment, Inc.
It’s been four years since
her last album Pain on Paper and the
Superwomen is ready to bless the industry again.
I Love Me which is the lead single off the album
features the southern hummingbird Tweet. The ladies sing about how women sometime
get so lost in loving their man that they forget to love themselves! “I Love
Me, O I Love Me, More Than I Love You.” Other ballads on the album include Movie, Higher, This Love, and Love Song. On these tracks Mo pours her heart out as she sings about different situations of love & relationships.
“I would say this is one of my most personal albums. A lot of
people love “Based on A True Story” & “The Girl Next Door” because those
were the introductions of me” - Lil Mo
Listening to the album you can get a feel of the Superwomen
at her best. Her bubbly personality, party girl persona, sassy attitude and
powerhouse vocal are showcased in this album.
I loved Lil
Mo ’s first-two albums (Based On A True Story, Meet the Girl Next
Door) and I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I brought this new
album. But I can honestly say this album is worth your $9.99. P.S. I Love Me is a SOILD CLASSIC
R&B album and Lil Mo ’s voice is impeccable!
