THE WAIT IS OVER!!! Dawn Richard, formerly of Dirty Money and Danity Kane has finally stepped out on her own and released her new EP, Armor On. This is her second released of music previously releasing a mixtape #ATELLTALEHEART which receive raved review last year. The EP is the prologue to Dawn’s debut album GoldenHeart, which will be released later this year. GoldenHeart would be the first installment of a trilogy, with BlackHeart and RedemptionHeart to follow.

The EP contains all original material, crafted, almost in its entirety, by the talented Grammy nominate producer, Druski.  The New Orleans natives 10-track EP addresses broken relationships, the temptation of the music industry, a positive support system, and true romance. The soundscapes Druski offers never drown Dawn’s vocals, but rather serve as the bed for her poignant lyrics to rest on. 


The 1st single off the EP is entitled Bombs. “It’s really aggressive and what I love about is it’s our ‘Hearts have arrived’ record,” Dawn told Rap-Up TV. “It’s such a confident record and the way we approached it is super aggressive and super cocky.” Not only is the song hot the video is FIRE!! 


This is one of the hottest video of the year! Dawn adds a little tribal flair to her  New Orleans style, as she dominates the desert with some of the most intricate choreography since JANET! Dawn Richards is the Truth and I glad the wait it over!
