Celebrity ISH: Nicki Minaj SLAMS 'Love & Hip Hop ATL' Kirk Frost

If you tuned into VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ last night, you would have witnessed one of the series’ more controversial episodes.

Revolving around the supposed demise of Rasheeda & Kirk Frosts’ fifteen year marriage, the last scene saw the latter shock fans when he engaged in on camera infidelity, while on a get away with cast member Raymond ‘Benzino’ Scott and singer Bobby Valentino.

Filmed cheating on his heavily pregnant wife with two members of Valentino’s entourage….one of them, being the self proclaimed ‘Mistress of Atlanta’ Alexis Miller.
All this, after urging Rasheeda to abort their unborn child and boldly suggesting that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith engaged in an open marriage, claiming Will ‘does as he pleases’ in their 16 year marriage.

Now, in defending the Smith’s and supporting Rasheeda, the chart topping Rapper Nicki Minaj has slammed Frost in a message posted on her official Twitter page.

After witnessing Monday night’s episode, the outspoken star shared:

“Damn my n—a! After 15 yrs you would embarrass the mother of your child while she’s pregnant on national TV like that? Cornballs on deck.

For reality tv tho? My n—a…that s–t ain’t worth it. If you’re trying to convince someone you’re not gay that’s the wrong way to go about it. Your wife is pregnant. Yo do that on national TV? GTFOH.

Having problems is one thing, broadcasting it on a TV show for some air time is another. That woman stayed by your side. How dare u?

And i dare you to say it ain’t none of my business. You done sold it to VH1.  It’s everybody business. It’s levels to this s–t…lol…the lower level minds will never understand that. You’re willing to ruin a 15 yr bond for vh1? El stupido.”

The most unsettling part about Kirk’behavior Monday's night were his failed attempts to link infidelity with masculinity, seemingly under the impression that it’s better to be seen as a ‘cheat’ than as a gay man…..not saying he is, but you know what we mean.

Even worse, what his decision to pull Will Smith‘s name into the dirt with him, adding fuel to a baseless rumor on a TV show whose main demographic is African-American. Problematic, on a number fronts- especially when one considers all the good the Smith’s have done to reinforce positive images of black couples in the wider media.
